How does P&P work?

Every week on our website, we offer a new menu of 10 different fresh and delicious entrees.  There are 2 easy ways to order:

(1) Just as if you were at a restaurant, pick and choose what you want off the menu.  Simply add the items to your cart and check out like you would at any other online store.

(2) You can also sign up for a subscription to "set it and forget it."  Purchasing the Weekly Subscription means that you will be set up for automatic billing and delivery.

When do you deliver?

We deliver fresh every Tuesday and Thursday between midnight and 7 a.m.  The first half of the menu is delivered Tuesdays, and the second half on Thursdays.

(Please include any special delivery instructions, like gate codes, in the comment box at checkout.)

Delivery dates are noted with each item and are also listed on the menu on our homepage.

Your order will be discreetly dropped off at your doorstep so please leave an iced cooler outside your door if you haven't signed up for a subscription.  (You can also purchase an insulated cooler from us here!)

Now offering pick up!

Need an alternative to home deliveries?  We now offer pick up at our kitchen! Swing by The Hood Kitchen Space at 350 Clinton St. in Costa Mesa Tuesdays and Thursdays between 9am and 7pm and let a member of the kitchen staff know you're there for P&P.

What do you serve?

Every week brings a brand new menu of 10 different homestyle meals that can fit into any diet.  You can always find out what's coming up next by checking out the menu updated weekly on the homepage.  Menus are posted on Wednesdays at noon and orders are accepted up to and including that Sunday.

Every dish is available as Original, Paleo, Keto, and Vegetarian.

{Original} menu items are perfect for the client who doesn't need to follow a special diet, but is looking for a delicious and convenient alternative to meal-prepping at home.

{Paleo} menu items are prepared with Primal-friendly ingredients including meat, seafood, eggs, nuts, fruits, vegetables, and sometimes natural sweeteners like honey.  They are completely free of grains, gluten, dairy, soy, sugar, and vegetable oils.  (Learn more about our take on Paleo here.)

{Keto} menu items are prepared with Ketogenic-friendly ingredients including meat, seafood, eggs, nuts, full-fat dairy, and fresh, seasonal vegetables.  They are completely free of grains, gluten, soy, sugar, starches, and vegetable oils.

{Vegetarian} menu items are much like the {Original} but do not include any meat or seafood products.

How much does it cost?

All of our entrees are $10.99 each and orders over $100 get free delivery.  (We also offer an Extras menu with sauces, snack boxes, sweet treats, and more which you can see here!)

Our Weekly Subscription is $105/week for one of each of the 10 meals on our menu every week, with free delivery and a complimentary insulated cooler bag and ice pack.  (Police, fire, or military?  Coach or owner at a CrossFit box?  Ask us about discounts!)

Maybe you need more meals throughout the week, or maybe you don't like seafood.  Whatever the case, we are more than happy to accommodate your needs and create a subscription that's right for you.  If at any time you wish to modify or discontinue a subscription, all you have to do is call or email.

(Please note that we reserve the right to charge $10/each for any coolers not returned unless other arrangements have been made.)

Where do you deliver?

We deliver all over Orange County!  If you find on checkout that your zip code or box is not in our delivery area, please send us an email at info@pigandpepperkitchen.com as we are always expanding.

How are the meals packaged?

We package all of our meals individually in microwave- and freezer-safe containers.  The containers are disposable but also recyclable, reusable, and top-rack dishwasher safe!

How are the orders bagged?

If you have signed up for a subscription, or purchased our cooler option, we will deliver your food each week in an insulated cooler bag with an ice pack.  Simply leave the bag and ice pack at your door before your next delivery.  If you choose not to buy our insulated bag option, please leave an iced cooler at your door.

(We are not responsible for your order once it has been dropped off at your requested delivery location - it is up to the client to retrieve their order and refrigerate it.  We are also not responsible for any items left inside of returned coolers - items left behind will be disposed of.)

How do I reheat my meals?

Meals are delivered fresh, ready to be reheated, refrigerated, or frozen.  Specific reheating instructions are included on each item.  (If you choose to reheat your meals in the oven rather than the microwave, be sure to transfer the food to an oven-safe dish first!)

What if I am allergic to...?

All of our food is prepared without wheat, soy, gluten, dairy, or legumes.  That being said, we work out of The Hood Kitchen Space, a shared facility with shared equipment that may have been used to process these foods and other potential allergens.

We regularly use a number of coconut products in our cooking (e.g., coconut oil, coconut aminos, etc.) and nut products in many of our baked goods (e.g., almond flour).  We also frequently feature eggs, seafood, and other potential allergens on our menu.

If you have any food allergies, intolerances, or particular dislikes, please let us know by email or in the comment box at checkout, and we will do our best to accommodate.  (Accommodations may include omitting ingredients, substituting ingredients, creating a different meal altogether, or replacing it with another item on our menu, per our discretion.)
